The City of Edwardsville, partnered with the Edwardsville Children's Museum and the Edwardsville Community Foundation, to move, restore, and re-open the 135-year-old Nickel Plate Railroad Station, located on the N.O. Nelson Campus of Lewis & Clark Community College in the Historic Leclaire neighborhood of Edwardsville, Illinois.
We offer educational programming and seasonal exhibits in the newly restored Nickel Plate station. December 4th, 2021 the "Into the Arctic" exhibit will be open on Saturdays for play through March 18, 2022. It will also be open for field trips throughout the week. We are always looking for partners to rent this space as well. It's the perfect spot to host meetings or offer classes.
Rental Rate: $50 for the first hour, $25/hour for additional time. Non-profit rate of $25/hour for rentals. 4 tables and 25 chairs are included for your set-up. For larger meetings/events, contact us to inquire about renting the second room. Rentals are available during the day, evenings, and weekends. Brand-new restroom in the Train Station as well.
