Professional Development

ECM is an Illinois State-Approved Professional Development Provider and credit can be earned through our workshops.

Professional development workshops promote ECM's philopsophy of stimulating curiosity and cultivating learning at the age of wonder.  Educators will learn instructional strategies and reflective teaching practices that can easily be integrated into classroom curricula.  Come learn how to make learning come alive for your students!  Teachers have the option to attend our workshops at the museum or school leaders can book our workshops and bring the museum experience to their teachers at their own schools.

For information on program booking or registration contact Education Director, Dr. Abby Schwent at (618) 692-2094 or education@edwardsvillechildrensmuseum.org
