Kids in the Kitchen
Learn how to chop, stir, and knead your way to a delicious dish!  Join us for this hands-on class as we share our favorite recipes with you!  Drop off program, participants leave with a recipe book and a chef hat.

  • June: Artisan Bread Bakers; meets off ECM property at the Main Street Community Center - Learn how to bake delicious, crusty homemade loaves of bread. 
  • July: Picnic Professionals - Summer is the perfect time of year for a picnic!  Come learn how to make bite sized eats perfect for filling a picnic basket.
  • August: Lunch is Served - Join us as we share our favorite lunch recipes!  Cook up a gourmet meal that you will be proud to share with family and friends.

Baby Sign Language

Join us for joyful, experiential learning in this class designed around nature exploration for children ages 18 months through preschool and their caregivers! Each session is focused on a different theme. Join us for one class or all!

Bake for Good
Join us for this very special program!  Partnering with King Arthur Flour and the Main Street Community Center to offer this free program, ECM educators will teach children how to make bread and about the power of doing good.  Participants will work in teams to bake large batches of rolls.  They will take half of their rolls home and donate the other half to the Meals on Wheels program, learning in the process that everyone can make a difference!

Registration Information

Registration Policies:

Registrations close one week prior to the program date or when the program is sold out.

Registration forms can be submitted online (e-mail to operations@edwardsvillechildrensmuseum.org), mailed or dropped off.

Children may register for programs only within their age level.

Museum Members receive a discount on program fees as indicated.

Children three years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Complete one registration form per child.

In order to secure registration, please submit a legible contact/registration form.

Payment:

Complete payment is required within 72 hours of registration; if registration is submitted online, you will receive an email response or phone call to arrange payment.

Registration is not complete until payment is received.

Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted.

Cancellations and Transfers:

A refund will be issued if your cancellation is received no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the program in which you are registered.

Participants may not make up or receive a refund for missed programs.

We reserve the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment (full refund will be issued).

When possible, we allow a program participant to transfer to a different program as long as there are openings and the participant is the appropriate age. Two weeks notice is required.
