Inventor STEM Camp July 12, 13, 15, 16 10:00-12:00

Fee:  $50 members/$60 non-members

Join us for a STEM intensive experience. Work through different challenges From Rube Goldberg Contraptions, Scribble Bots, Paper-Craft Circuits, and Star Charts to LEDs and Salvage Bots.

Students will take home activities for Wednesday to do at home on Tuesday

I’ve Got Rhythm: Art & Music July 13 1:00-2:30

Fee:  $10 members/$15 non-members

Discover rhythm in art & music.  Students will create rhythmic art based on musical inspiration.

Camp Messy

Camp Messy is back!  Come and make a joyful mess at the museum during this engaging sensory experience

5 Senses (Preschool) July 19, 20, 22, 23 10:00-11:00

Fee:  $30 members/$40 non-members

Join us as we explore all 5 senses and learn how they help us understand what is going on around us.  We will show how all your senses can be fooled sometimes!

Note there is no class for Wednesday July 21st. Students will take home “taste” activities for Wednesday

Art:  Category of Color July 20 1:00-2:30

Discover the world of color. Students will categorize color, name color, mix color, and create art.

Lewis & Clark Camp July 26, 27,29, 30 10:00-12:00

Fee:  $50 members/$60 non-members

Travel back in time to explore history with Lewis and Clark through hands-on interactive activities.

Elements of Art July 26 1:00-3:00 

Fee:  $10 members/$15 non-members 

Learn and use the seven elements of art to create your own project.

Ages 3rd-7th grade (Drop off Program)


Star Wars Camp Aug 2, 3, 5, 6 10:00-12:00

Fee:  $50 members/$60 non-members

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a Jedi?  Learn the force and join the rebels on this important mission with three parts:  Build a Lightsaber, Droid Inventor, and Bloxels Star Wars Game Design.

Come to the Children's Museum in Edwardsville, IL to explore our closest star, the Sun!  At Celebrate the Sun, we will have telescopes available for safe sun viewing and have stations set up outside for some hands-on demonstrations explaining how our Sun provides energy to the Earth.  We will play a card game to see how the sun helps us get food, and powers our homes and cars.  We will even make some special bracelets that remind us why sunscreen is important to protect our skin from harmful rays!

Registration Information

Registration Policies:

Registrations close one week prior to the program date or when the program is sold out.

Registration forms can be submitted online (e-mail to, mailed or dropped off.

Children may register for programs only within their age level.

Museum Members receive a discount on program fees as indicated.

Children three years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Complete one registration form per child.

In order to secure registration, please submit a legible contact/registration form.


Complete payment is required within 72 hours of registration.

Registration is not complete until payment is received.

Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted in house; online payments are required for online registration.

Cancellations and Transfers:

A refund will be issued if your cancellation is received no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the program in which you are registered.

Participants may not make up or receive a refund for missed programs.

We reserve the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment (full refund will be issued).

When possible, we allow a program participant to transfer to a different program as long as there are openings and the participant is the appropriate age. Two weeks notice is required.
