Preschool Playgroup
Join us each week for joyful learning! This class offers stories, songs, crafts, and hands-on activities around a different theme each week. For children ages 18 months through pre-K with their caregivers.

What can you do to make our community a better place? Recycling, waster reduction, conservation. Participants will learn more on each topic, complete a recycling challenge and make a reusable cloth sack from a t-shirt.
Slime Camp

Spend the day making and playing with slime. Learn about the science of slime and take some slime home to continue the exploration. Campers will have time to enjoy the museum as well. Bring a sack lunch.

Morse Code & the Telegraph

Learn about Samuel Morse, how Morse code has been used, create a hidden message bracelet using Morse code, and build a telegraph.
STEM Camp

Join us for a three day STEM intensive experience. Work through different challenges From Rube Goldberg Contraptions, Scribble Bots, Paper-Craft Circuits and Star Charts to LEDs and Salvage Bots.
Shark Week in a Day

Learn about the great underwater beasts we call sharks with a variety of activities!
Around the World – Olympic Style

Learn about different cultures as you complete challenges to move around the world.
LEGO Me Crazy

Age: Kindergarten and Up (Drop off Program-bring a sack lunch)
Fee: $40 members/$50 non-members
Participants will rotate through several timed LEGO building challenges, complete a LEGO robotics challenge and much, much more!
Stress Balls Make & Take
10am-11am
All ages with a caregiver
Fee: Free for museum members/$5 non-members
Create your very own calm down ball to take home.
Registration Information
Registration Policies:
Registrations close one week prior to the program date or when the program is sold out.
Registration forms can be submitted online (e-mail to executive@edwardsvillechildrensmuseum.org), mailed or dropped off.
Children may register for programs only within their age level.
Museum Members receive a discount on program fees as indicated.
Children three years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Complete one registration form per child.
In order to secure registration, please submit a legible contact/registration form.
Payment:
Complete payment is required within 72 hours of registration.
Registration is not complete until payment is received.
Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted in house; online payments are required for online registration.
Cancellations and Transfers:
A refund will be issued if your cancellation is received no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the program in which you are registered.
Participants may not make up or receive a refund for missed programs.
We reserve the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment (full refund will be issued).
When possible, we allow a program participant to transfer to a different program as long as there are openings and the participant is the appropriate age. Two weeks notice is required.
